Now let’s see about Search Engine Optimization.
You should always ask What?, Why? and How?.
What is Search Engine OptimizationSearch Engine? I hope the first paragraph is enough as an answer to this question.
Why you need Search Engine Optimization? We need Search Engine Optimization because it is important to keep your website updated on the Google Search results page. SEO is done to improve a website’s organic ranking and improve website traffic. Let’s start SEO by working our way from inside out. By inside I mean your website. First, fix the problems on your website and then consider the external factors influencing the performance of your website. Let us see what we can do to improve the performance of a website in organic search results.
And now you’re gonna see How to do SEO?.
Since we’ve already discussed about Keyword and the importance of content in the previous post,
let’s see what we can further do to improve your website ranking. To generate more organic traffic
make use of free service tools provided by Google.
Softwares like Google Search Console, Google Analytics are powerful SEO tools provided by Google.

Google Search Console and Google Analytics for SEO

Google Analytics

Google Analytics is a free analytics software launched by Google back in 2005. It is a free service offered by Google to
track and create reports about the traffic of a website. Google Analytics is the most widely used analytics service on the web.
Google analytics helps the website owner to track the activity of the users such as session duration, pages per session,
bounce rate, etc. along with it provides information about the source of the traffic. Google Analytics uses the Google Analytics
Tracking Code, which is a snippet of JavaScript code that the website owner adds to every page of the website.
Google Analytic’s Real-Time Analytics, enables user to have insight about visitors currently on the site. Check out my
blog on Google Analytics to learn more about it.

Google Search Console

Google Search Console is a free SEO tool provided by Google, It provides information such as keywords that best suit your
site for increased ranking position, crawl errors with your website, device compatibility of your website, the sites that are
linked to your websites, and most importantly Google search lets you know if your site has any penalties.
Google Search Console provides tools that help you rectify errors and optimize your search engine ranking and the performance
report shows information regarding user interactions, such as average CTR, total clicks, total impressions.

Using Google Search Console you can find out the page ranking for a specific keyword and see how many pages in your
site have been indexed by Google. If a specific page is not indexed by Google then you can index that page using the
URL Inspection tool provided by the Googe Search Console. Paste the URL on the URL Inspection bar at the top,
and if Google doesn’t find any errors while testing click on the Request Indexing button for indexing the page.
It may take a few hours for Google to crawl and add the pages to its index. And submitting sitemap to Google Search Console helps Google to crawl your site faster, and let it know about the newly published pages.
